Last Week Of The Second Quater!

Friday 30, 2009 was the last day of the week of the second quarter! This is what we did the last week of the second quarter:

Language Arts- In language arts we worked on finishing up any projects we hadn't finished yet. Such as our memoirs, and other writing pieces. We also started on practice research for our next project, in which we will be choosing a topic about rather animals, the human body, diseases, and other subjects such as crime investigation, DNA, and more!
Social Studies- In Social Studies we worked also on finishing up any last minute projects like our vocabulary booklets, and our business proposal projects. Our business proposal was a website we created. We had to write a proposal about a business we wanted to "create", then post it on our blogs. We also started searching for a topic about the middle ages for the project we will be doing for the third quarter!


Science- In science we started working on researching rocks for the third quarter. We had to start learning how to identify three different kinds of rocks, Metamorphic, Igneous, and Sedimentary rocks.


Math- In math we worked on sunshine math and word problem. We also finished up on our book of math problems about fractions, decimals, ratios, and percents. Also we started talking about our new book were going to be working on, subtracting, and adding positive and negative numbers.
