Week 7 Of The Third Quarter!

Language Arts - In Language Arts anyone who has not passed in their research paper finished it and passed it in. We also started literature groups.

Social Studies - In social studies we answered the questions that we asked for the renaissance paintings. We also finished our blog posts for the medieval journals.

Science - In science we did some more research for our projects, and did a practice with communicating without being able to see what the person is telling you to do.

Math - In math we finished 4.2 and started 4.3. We also had to pass in our word problem Thursday March 26th.

Wednesday was a half day and Friday March 27th is Spring Picture day.

Week 6 Of The Third Quarter!

Language Arts - In language arts we past in our final drafts of our research papers. We also worked on our odes to our research topic, and we finished up on our news letters.

Social Studies - In social studies we made up questions for our renaissance paintings we chose, and worked on answering them. We also made a flickr and yahoo account. Also started working on a sketch up of some thing to do with the medieval times like castles, medieval times, and more.

Science - In science we worked on getting research for our science projects, and started working on them. We also talked individually with Mr. Welch.

Math - In math we started 4.2, and got a new sunshine math and word problem, which the sunshine math is due Tuesday March 31, and the word problem is due Thursday March 26.

Week 5 Of The Third Quarter!

Language Arts- In language arts we started finishing up on our final drafts for our topics, and had students and teachers read it over to edit it.

Math- In math we worked and learned how to multiply, add, subtract, and divide negative and positive numbers and fractions. We also had a small test.

Science- In science we worked on our science fair projects, and started making our projects and getting information on them.

Social Studies- In social studies we posted our blog entry for this week, and we chose a picture and artist from the renaissance times and we are going to find eight historical pieces in the painting.

Week 4 Of The Third Quarter!

Language Arts- In language arts we sorted our information for our reports on our topic and started our rough drafts for the report. We also did a few MEA practices.

Math- In math we started adding and subtracting negative and positive numbers and fractions.

Social Studies- In social studies other students looked at each others middle ages presentation, and we took a poll 'grading' each others presentations. We also worked on posting our medieval blogs.

Science- In science we chose our science fair topics and started getting information on them. We also talked to Mr.Welch about our topics for science fair individually.

Monday was a snow day!! :]
